Cleaning Protocols

  • The massage room and all equipment will be exposed to a 60W UV-C germicidal light for at least 15 minutes.
  • Clients are scheduled a miniumum of 30 minutes apart to reduce the chance of unnecessary contact between clients.
  • The therapist will wash her hands for at least 20 seconds with antibacterial soap and water before and after every client.
  • The therapist will wear a cloth face mask and/or face shield during the massage.
  • Linens (sheets, face cradle cover, pillowcases and towels) are washed in hot water with detergent, and dried in a dryer set on high-heat.
  • Linens are changed for every appointment.
  • Tools (cups, IASTM tools, and other massage tools) are cleaned with isopropyl alcohol after every use.
  •  The shea butter used will be scooped into a small dish for use throughout the session. If more is needed, more will be scooped into the small dish. Any leftover shea butter will be disposed of, and the small dish cleaned with isopropyl alcohol.
  • The air purifier / sanitizer has a HEPA filter, as well as, a UV-C sanitizing light to further kill any germs in the air.  The air purifier sanitizes a 167sqft room 4x/hour. This massage room is 150 sqft.
  •  The surface of the LifeStream Generator will be cleaned with isopropyl alcohol after each client, if used during the session.
  • Hand sanitizer available for the client and therapist to use as needed.
